Join us for the 12th annual Bites for Rights event! For the past 11 years, eateries around the entire state have been supporting the work of Basic Rights Oregon through the Bites for Rights fundraising event. For one day only, equality-loving restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and bars will donate a percentage of their proceeds to Basic Rights Oregon. Bites for Rights has grown in size and scope since its first year. Since its inception, this event has raised almost $200,000 to support the work of Basic Rights Oregon. This year, Bites for Rights will be held on Thursday, June 23rd, 2011, and we hope to have 100 establishments around the state participate.
By dining out on June 23rd, you’ll support Oregon’s growing movement for equality. Dine out all day long—breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, late night snack—all purchases will support fairness for LGBT Oregonians.
